About the collection

This collection contains a selection of OA books published by the MCUP and selected output from 2 of their journals, the Journal of Advanced Military Studies (JAMS) and the Marine Corps History (MCH).

The Journal of Advanced Military Studies (JAMS) is an open access journal that offers a forum for open dialogue between scholars, policy makers, analysts, and military leaders and of crossing civilian-military boundaries to advance knowledge and solve problems.

Marine Corps History focuses on all topics within the long history of the Corps: Civil War, Spanish-American War, Banana Wars, WWI, WWII, Korea, Cold War, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, women and minorities in the military and focus on some aspect of the Corps either directly or indirectly, including foreign marines and joint operations.

 

MCU Press is located in the heart of Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, in the Brigadier General Edwin H. Simmons Marine Corps History Center.
