The journal is a collaborative publication, launched since 2019, between the Ibn Khaldun Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University and Qatar University Press.

Tajseer aims at enriching the Arab scientific community through in-depth, high-quality and theoretically based scholarly research that contributes to meeting the intellectual and practical challenges of the Arab world. Tajseer proactively seeks interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research that looks beyond methodological nationalism and the narrow limitations of humanities and social disciplines. Dr. Nayef Nahar Al-Shammari, Director of the Ibn Khaldon Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from Qatar University in 2008. He obtained a Master’s degree in Jurisprudence and Fundamentals with Distinction in 2011 from the International Islamic University in Malaysia. He obtained a PhD from the same university in jurisprudence and its fundamentals with distinction in 2014, and the thesis of both degrees addressed Islamic banking. Dr. Nayef Bin Nahar also received another doctorate in 2018 in the field of political science from the International Islamic University in Malaysia, and the thesis was on the subject of fixed and variable constructs in the democratic system. Dr. Nayef bin Nahar has seven books in various fields of knowledge, including: “Islamic Banking in the State of Qatar”, “Introduction to International Relations”, “Democracy as it is” and “The Logical Correlation between Islam and Secularism”. He has about ten research papers in various scientific journals, including "Moral Induction by Shatby: A Critical Study" and "Legal Mechanisms for the formation of Capital of Islamic Branches" and "A Proposed Methodology for Westernization Science Establishment." Dr. Nayef presented a new theory in the science of international relations called the "Deterrent Arm" and acquired its intellectual property on the seventh of February 2016.

Bio: Eltigani Abdelgadir Hamid is a research Professor of Political Thought at Ibn Khaldon Center, Qatar University. He holds a BA with an honor degree in Philosophy (University of Khartoum-Sudan), a Master’s Degree in Political Philosophy, with particular focus on Islamic Political Thought (University of Khartoum-Sudan), and a Ph.D. in Politics, with a special focus on contemporary Islamic movements (University of London). Among the academic positions he previously held are: Professor of Political Thought and Islamic Studies (Institute for Islamic World Studies, Zayed University, UAE); Associate Professor (the Graduate School of Islamic & Social Sciences, USA); Adjunct Professor of Islamic Studies (Shenandoah University, USA); Associate Professor of Political Studies (International Islamic University, Malaysia); Assistant Professor (Department of Political Science, University of Khartoum), and Assistant Professor (Department of Islamic Studies, University of Khartoum). Professor Adnan Yousef Atoum is a highly accomplished academic and expert in the field of psychology. He obtained his PhD in Social-Cognitive Psychology from Texas Christian University in 1990 and currently teaches at the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at Yarmouk University, Jordan. In addition to his academic work, Professor Atoum also serves as the head of the trustee board of Irbid Private University. Throughout his career, Professor Atoum has held numerous prestigious positions, including President of Al-Albyte University and Vice President and Dean of Education and Psychology at Yarmouk University. He has also taught at international institutions such as Sharjah University-UAE and College of Education, Sultanate of Oman. With a passion for research, Professor Atoum has published over 100 research articles and 18 books on various psychological issues. Dr. Faegheh Shirazi is a Professor in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas, Austin. She holds a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. Shirazi’s specialisations and research interests include popular religious practices; rituals and their influence on gender identity and discourse in Muslim societies, with a primary focus on Iran Islamic veiling Material culture, textile and clothing. She also specializes in the study of Islamic veiling, material culture, textiles and clothing. Dr. Batoul Khalifa is an Emeritus Associate Professor in Mental Health at Qatar University. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Philosophy (Mental Health) from Ain Shams University, where she conducted a study on the role conflict experienced by Qatari women workers and its impact on the psychological well-being of mothers and children. She led numerous successful projects and workshops in Qatar and globally. In addition, Batoul Khalifa serves as the Chair of the Quality Assurance and Program Improvement Committee at the College of Education at Qatar University. She has also served as a former board member of DISE and has worked as a reviewer for the International Journal of Multicultural Learning and Teaching. Dr. Batoul's research interests encompass a range of topics, including women and family psychology, child maltreatment, youth creativity, and quality assurance in higher education. Sahar Khamis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is an expert on Arab and Muslim media, and the former Head of the Mass Communication Department in Qatar University. Dr. Khamis holds a Ph.D. in Mass Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Manchester in England. She is a former Mellon Islamic Studies Initiative Visiting Professor at the University of Chicago. Dr. Khamis has made significant contributions to the field through her research and publications. Dr. Houcine Al Soudani holds a Tunisian University excellence degree, a doctorate degree in Linguistics with honors, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies. He is a research team member of the “Discourse Analysis” and the “Grammar of Discourse and Pragmatic Rhetoric” laboratory at the University of Manouba in Tunisia. He worked as a professor of Linguistics at the Higher Institute of Humanities Sciences in Tunisia and the Tunisia Virtual University. Dr. Al Soudani has carried out several research works in Linguistics and has collaborations in many Arab and Western universities. He is also Editor-In-Chief of the “Mizan Attarjama,” a magazine published by the Tunisian National Center for Translation. He is a reviewer of several publications of the Center. He has a particular interest in the applications of Linguistics and Semiotics based on a number of master's dissertations he supervised and other research works he conducted in the context of sign language and translation. Dr. Suhad Daher-Nashif holds a second title in Health Sciences, Ph.D. in Sociology and Anthropology. She is a medical anthropologist who focuses her research on dismantling the intersectionality between medical sciences, society, politics, and bureaucracy within healthcare practices in the MENA. Her main research fields are medical education, forensic medicine, and mental health. Dr. Eid Mohamed, is an Assistant Professor of American and Cultural Studies at the Department of English Literature and Linguistics at Qatar University College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Mohamed's work is at the crossroads of several research areas including US-Middle East studies; and literary, media, and cultural studies.
