This international, peer-reviewed Open Access journal by Dove Medical Press focuses on evidence-based reports on the value of treatments intended to prevent the onset of maladaptive correlates of aging in humans.

Aims & Scope

Clinical Interventions in Aging is an international, peer-reviewed journal focusing on the intrinsic diseases, therapies, indicators and management of functional decline during aging.

Clinical Interventions in Aging focuses on concise rapid reporting of original research and reviews in aging. Special attention will be given to papers reporting on actual or potential clinical applications leading to improved prevention or treatment of disease or a greater understanding of pathological processes. This journal is directed at a wide array of scientists, engineers, pharmacists, pharmacologists and clinical specialists working directly on biomedical applications of nanotechnology or wishing to maintain an up to date knowledge of this exciting and emerging field.

The editorial board comprises some of the most eminent scientists and experts in this field. Founding editor and Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Rich Walker, a distinguished researcher who has also published extensively in major international scientific and medical journals. Associate Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Zhi-Ying Wu, Chief physician, professor, and tutor of PhD students in Department of Neurology, Huashan Hospital and the director of Institute of Neurology, Fudan University.

For Authors

Open Access Publication: All manuscripts submitted to Dove Medical Press are assumed to be submitted under the Open Access publishing model.

In this publishing model, papers are peer-reviewed in the normal way under editorial control. When a paper is accepted for publication the author is issued with an invoice for payment of a publication processing fee. Publication processing fees invoiced to EU countries are subject to 20% VAT. There is no submission charge as such, only the publication processing fee after the paper is accepted for publication. Payment of this charge allows Dove Medical Press to recover its editorial and production costs and create a pool of funds that can be used to provide fee waivers for authors from lesser developed countries.
