Abstract
<p class="first" id="d1948416e70">Empathy is fundamental to patient-centred care.
It has been shown to improve patient
satisfaction and therapeutic outcomes. The success of educational interventions in
enhancing students' empathy has been mixed, however, and a consensus on the most effective
approach is lacking.
