Abstract

En el presente trabajo se expone el análisis de marcas, pintadas y graffitis realizados sobre los muros de “La Base” de Santa Lucía - departamento Monteros, Tucumán- entre 1975 y 1982. El registro y relevamiento se reforzó con el análisis de las entrevistas realizadas a los protagonistas de la historia. La interpretación de estas manifestaciones murarias nos permitió comprender cuál fue el uso de este espacio, la cronología y la acción comunicativa de cada marca. Éstas se adscriben al período de funcionamiento de “La Base” como Centro Clandestino de Detención. Pudimos constatar la existencia de marcas sobre los muros realizadas por conscriptos desde el inicio del Operativo Independencia- febrero de 1975- y durante la última dictadura cívico-militar. La lectura de estos graffitis habilita el proceso de reconstrucción histórica de “La Base” y nos acerca al pasado traumático; tanto las instalaciones como las marcas se configuran en relictos del pasado que son resignificados a través del tiempo, transformándose en vehículos hacia él.

In this paper we expose the analysis of marks, paintings, and graffitis done over the walls “La Base” from Santa Lucía -Monteros, Tucumán- between 1975 and 1982. The work of archaeological survey and register was reinforced by the interviews with the people that were frontline players in history. The interpretations of these murals manifestations will allow us to comprehend the intended use of this space, its chronology, and the communicational action of each marks.The marks that we are referring to belong to the moments in which “La Base” was functioning as a Clandestine Detention Center. We were able to identify the existence of marks in the walls that were made by conscripts since the beginning of the Operativo Independencia -February, 1975- and during last civic-military dictatorship. The reading of the graffiti enables the historic reconstruction process of “La Base” and helps us getting closer to this traumatic past; both the constructions and the marks are transformed in remnants of a past which in turn are re-signified through time, becoming vehicles into it.
