          Abstract

Primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT) has been associated with premature death in cardiovascular diseases. Short-term prospects for normalization of cardiovascular derangements have been described after parathyroidectomy. This study explores long-term effects of parathyroidectomy on cardiovascular functions in pHPT.
