          Abstract

Human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) are primary cells capable of differentiating to osteocytic lineage when stimulated under appropriate conditions. This study examined changes in hMSC morphology, proliferation, and gene expression after growth on machined or dual acid-etched (AE) titanium surfaces.
