Abstract
Integrative structure determination is a powerful approach to mapping the structures
of biological systems, with implications for our understanding of cellular biology
and drug discovery. Here, we provide a Primer to introduce the researcher to the theory
and methods of integrative approaches, relying on examples to illustrate the practice
and challenges involved. These guidelines are intended to aid the researcher in applying
integrative structural methods to systems of their interest and thus take advantage
of this rapidly evolving field.
