          Abstract

          O suporte organizacional, ou suporte laboral, está relacionado com o desenvolvimento de crenças por parte dos colaboradores sobre o quanto a organização o valoriza e cuida de seu bem-estar. De acordo com essa definição, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivos construir uma Escala de Suporte Laboral (ESUL) e realizar estudos de evidência de validade de construto e confiabilidade da mesma. Para tanto, os dados foram coletados em 312 universitários que trabalhavam. Os dados foram analisados utilizando estatística inferencial, por meio de análise fatorial do conjunto de itens construído. Os resultados alcançados pós-análise fatorial permitiram evidenciar validade de construto da ESUL. Dos 66 itens construídos inicialmente, permaneceram 24, aglutinados em quatro categorias com cargas fatoriais e índices de confiabilidade satisfatórios: Benefícios; Interação Colaborador e Organização; Interações entre Colaboradores; Informação. A consecução dos objetivos propostos neste estudo permite continuidade no processo de validade da ESUL, além de normatização e futuro envio para avaliação do Conselho Federal de Psicologia

          El soporte organizacional, o suporte laboral, está relacionado con el desarrollo de creencias por parte de los colaboradores sobre lo cuanto la organización les valora y cuida su bienestar. En conformidad con esa definición, la presente pesquisa tubo como objetivos construir una Escala de Soporte Laboral (ESUL) y realizar estudios de evidencia de validez de constructo y confiabilidad de la misma. Para tanto, los datos fueron colectados en 312 universitarios que trabajaban. Los datos fueron analizados utilizándose estadística inferencial, por medio de análisis factorial del conjunto de ítems construido. Los resultados alcanzados post análisis factorial permitieron evidenciar validez de constructo de la ESUL. De los 66 ítems construidos inicialmente, permanecieron 24, aglutinados en cuatro categorías con cargas factoriales e índices de confiabilidad satisfactorios: Beneficios; Interacción Colaborador y Organización; Interacciones entre Colaboradores; Información. La consecución de los objetivos propuestos en este estudio permite continuidad en el proceso de validez de la ESUL, además de la normalización y futuro envío para evaluación del Consejo Federal de Psicología.

          Translated abstract

          The organizational support, or labor support, is related to the development of beliefs by parts of employees about how much the organization values and cares for their welfare. According to this definition, this research aimed to build the Escala de Suporte Laboral (ESUL) and studies of evidence of construct validity and reliability of the same. To this end, data were collected in a sample of 312 college students who worked. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, through factor analysis of all the items constructed. The results achieved after factor analysis allowed to show construct validity of the ESUL, the 66 items constructed initially spent 24, clumped into four categories with factor loading and reliability indices satisfactory, these being benefits and Organization Collaborating Interaction interactions between employees; information. The achievement of objectives proposed in this study allows for continuity in the process of validity of ESUL, seeking new studies, standardization and evaluation for the Federal Council of Psychology.

          Perceived organizational support: a review of the literature.

          The authors reviewed more than 70 studies concerning employees' general belief that their work organization values their contribution and cares about their well-being (perceived organizational support; POS). A meta-analysis indicated that 3 major categories of beneficial treatment received by employees (i.e., fairness, supervisor support, and organizational rewards and favorable job conditions) were associated with POS. POS, in turn, was related to outcomes favorable to employees (e.g., job satisfaction, positive mood) and the organization (e.g., affective commitment, performance, and lessened withdrawal behavior). These relationships depended on processes assumed by organizational support theory: employees' belief that the organization's actions were discretionary, feeling of obligation to aid the organization, fulfillment of socioemotional needs, and performance-reward expectancies.
