Abstract

O artigo discute a produção de informação do ponto de vista gerencial e tecnológico, considerando alguns aspectos do processo de reforma do setor saúde. São abordadas questões referentes à introdução de inovações tecnoJógicas na área da saúde, estrutura organizacional e capacitação de recursos humanos. Descreve-se o projeto de implantação da Rede Nacional de Informações em Saúde (RNIS), discutindo-se, nas conclusões, os desafios e perspectivas colocados para a implementação da RNIS no que se refere a aspectos políticos, organizacionais e financeiros.

The article discusses the production of information on management and technology, reviewing some aspects of the health sector reform processo It studies some issues related to the introduction of technological innovation in the health sector, to the organizational structure and to human resources training. The implementation of the Nationallnformation Network on Health (RNIS) project is described here and, in the conclusions, the chalienges and perspectives resulting from the implementation of RNIS and their impact on political, organizational and financial issues are analyzed.
