O artigo é uma reflexão teórica sobre os conceitos de identificação projetiva e enactment. Alude-se que a identificação projetiva é um conceito de transição entre a primeira geração (Freud-Klein) e a segunda geração (Bion-Winnicott) da psicanálise, divisão sugerida por Ogden (2014). A primeira geração se debruça mais intensamente sobre a questão do que pensamos; segue-se a geração que se dedica à maneira como pensamos. Considerando esta organização temporal, o termo enactment pertence ao que é conjecturado aqui como a terceira geração de conceitos na psicanálise: aqueles que abordam de que forma analista e analisando pensam juntos.

This article refers to the projective identification as a concept of transition between the first generation psychoanalysis (Freud-Klein) and its second generation (Bion-Winnicott), a division suggested by Ogden (2014). The first generation addresses more intensively the issue of what we think. Then, there is the generation that dedicates itself to the way we think. Considering this temporal organization, the word enactment belongs to what is deemed here as the third generation of concepts in psychoanalysis, that is, those that approach the question: In what way do analyst and patient think together?
