Abstract

Las marchas y protestas de los estudiantes de la Universidad Industrial de Santander en los años sesenta fueron unas de las más representativas en la protesta estudiantil colombiana. El presente artículo propone un nuevo enfoque de la marcha estudiantil de 1964 desde Bucaramanga hasta Bogotá. Los testimonios de algunos protagonistas de aquellos acontecimientos dejan ver una memoria social difícilmente abarcable a través de los documentos oficiales o las fuentes de prensa.

The marches and protests at Universidad Industrial de Santander in the 1960s were among the most representative in the Colombian student protest movement. This article proposes a new approach to the 1964 march from Bucaramanga to Bogotá. The testimonies of some of the protagonists of those events provide a collective memory that can hardly be grasped through official documents or media sources.
