Abstract
The status of Dichotrachelus valesiacus Stierlin, 1878 is revised. The lectotype is designated and the following synonymy is presented: D. verrucosus (Kiesenwetter, 1851) = D. valesiacus Stierlin, 1878 syn. nov.
