Abstract
Coronary artery spasm is associated with vascular smooth muscle hyper-reactivity.
Statins suppress coronary spasm by inhibiting the vascular smooth muscle contraction.
However, it is unclear whether statin therapy benefits patients with coronary spasm-induced
acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
