Resumo Seria a noção de biopolítica ainda um conceito apropriado para se interpretar a realidade política vigente? Objetiva-se investigar como Roberto Esposito defende a atualidade da noção de biopolítica para se interpretar a realidade política atual. Para alcançar tal intento, foi feito uma reconstrução pormenorizada dos argumentos desenvolvidos pelo filósofo italiano em um opúsculo intitulado Biopolítica y Filosofia (2006).

Abstract: Would the notion of biopolitics still an appropriate concept to interpret the current political reality? The aim of this study is to investigate how Roberto Esposito defends the notion of biopolitics nowadays to interpret the current political reality. To achieve this purpose, it was made a detailed reconstruction of the arguments developed by the Italian philosopher in a pamphlet entitled Biopolítica y Filosofia (2006).
