      Entre maestros: reforma de la formación docente en Aguascalientes: un análisis de su implementación

          Abstract

          Este trabajo analiza la valoración de la reforma de la formación docente por profesores con diferentes funciones en el estado de Aguascalientes. Se realizaron entrevistas siguiendo una guía basada en los propósitos y facetas del Programa de Transformación y Fortalecimiento Académicos de las Escuelas Normales. El análisis de la información se centró en la identificación de los rasgos positivos de la reforma, sus logros y los obstáculos a su implementación. Se concluye, por una parte, que existe consenso en que la reforma era necesaria y que aportó elementos académicos, financieros y materiales que impulsaron el mejoramiento de las instituciones; por la otra, se identifican obstáculos de naturaleza administrativa, política, pedagógica y de gestión que han limitado la plena institucionalización de la reforma, la cual requiere ser continuada y fortalecida.

          Translated abstract

          This article analyzes evaluations of the teacher training reform that were collected from teachers serving in various functions in the state of Aguascalientes. Interviews were held by following an interview guide focused on the purposes and facets of the Program of Academic Transformation and Development of Normal School. The analysis of the information was centered on identifying the positive traits of the reform, its achievements, and the obstacles to its implementation. The conclusions, on one hand, refer to the consensus that the reform was necessary and that it contributed academic, financial, and material elements leading to institutional improvement; on the other hand, an identification is made of obstacles of an administrative, political, pedagogical, and managerial nature that have limited the full institutionalization of the reform, which needs to be continued and strengthened.
