          Abstract

Abstract: The “Peregrinación la Brocheriana” recreates on horseback and / or on foot in six days the journey of almost 200 kilometers that, in the 1870s, the priest Brochero (1840-1914) and his parishioners made from the west of Cordoba, crossing high peaks, up to Córdoba Capital to carry out spiritual exercises. In this work we are going to approach this pilgrimage, in which we participate on foot in its entirety, describing its central organizational aspects and focusing on some of its experiential dimensions (bodily aspects such as resistance and fatigue, experiences of closeness with the saint to the follow the same path, etc.), dialoguing in our journey with different social studies on the pilgrim phenomenon.
