The project aims to improve and verify the methods for predicting the creep life of the steam piping system developed in a previous phase of the project. For the life of steam pipe systems in electricity and heat production should not be abbreviated the status needs to be assessed so that they do not lead to shortening life expectancy. By the results of the developed methods, including creep analyses and non-destructive testing, life-time extension programmes can be implemented. This contributes to increased operational and supply security, availability as well as increased resource utilization.
