Artículo dedicado a describir el modelo teórico de los juegos propuesto por Roger Caillois, con el objetivo de sugerir su aplicación analítica a las sociedades actuales. Las cuatro categorías del modelo, denominadas Agon, Alea, Mimicry e Ilinx, y sus posibles combinaciones, se aplican a diferentes ámbitos de vida contemporáneos, subrayándose el peligro de su corrupción en formas asociales. Finalmente, se realiza a modo, de ejemplo, dos aplicaciones analíticas sobre la literatura y las expresiones folklóricas.
The article describes the theoretical model of games proposed by Roger Caillois, with the aim of suggesting their analytical application to current societies. The four categories of the model, called Agon, Alea, Mimicry and Ilinx, and their possible combinations, apply to different contemporary spheres of life, emphasizing the danger of their corruption in asocial forms. Finally, as an example, two analytical applications are carried out on the topics of the literature and folkloric expressions.
