O construtivismo de Piaget trata o conhecimento como uma construção, a partir da ação do sujeito, numa interação com o objeto do conhecimento. Este artigo trata da importância da interação, na teoria de Piaget, não apenas para a construção do conhecimento, mas também para a própria constituição e construção do sujeito. São analisados os conceitos construtivistas que se referem aos mecanismos gerais de funcionamento da inteligência, através dos quais as noções de interação e de construção podem ser definidas; e aludidos conceitos presentes nas últimas obras de Piaget, com o objetivo de mostrar o fio condutor entre os mecanismos mais gerais e mais específicos da inteligência humana como sendo a ação, dentro de uma interação. © Ciências & Cognição 2007; Vol. 12: ??-??.

The constructivism of Piaget treats the knowledge as a construction, from the action of the subject, in an interaction with the object of the knowledge. This article deals with the importance of the interaction, in the theory of Piaget, not only for the construction of the knowledge, but also for the constitution and construction of the subject.
