Abstract

El desarrollo económico, la evolución de la ciencia y la tecnología, la explosión demográfica, la "cultura" informatizada, las libertades democráticas y la corrupción, han provocado una crisis moral sin precedentes, una revolución del concepto que tiene el hombre de sí mismo, de lo masculino y lo femenino, al punto de ver tambalearse su identidad, sus valores y perderse el sentido de orientación de hacia dónde van la cultura y la civilización. Esta crisis nos apostrofa con interrogantes que tienen anverso y reverso: ¿cómo afrontar el presente incierto? ¿De qué cualidades, de qué carácter hay que estar construido para plantarse y tomar buenas decisiones en el mundo inseguro, competitivo y difícil que nos toca vivir? Ya no se trata de pensar proyectos ecológicos o modelos económicos sustentables, menos sistemas ideológicos; sino de descubrir personalidades capaces de lucidez y altura necesarias para asumir con responsabilidad el liderazgo de la humanidad.

This crisis apostrophes with a question that has front and back: how to deal with this uncertainty? What qualities, what character should be built to stand up and make good decisions in the world insecure, competitive and challenging in which we live? It is no longer thinking about environmental projects and sustainable economic models, less ideological systems; but to discover personalities capable of lucidity and height necessary to assume leadership responsibility of mankind.
