          Abstract

          Translated abstract

Abstract Aortic intramural hematoma is one of the presentations of acute aortic syndrome. A little-known and controversial finding is the intramural “blood pool” or thoracic branch pseudoaneurysm, characterized as a periaortic contrast area without clear communication with the true lumen and that may be connected to a branch of the intercostal or lumbar arteries.
