          Abstract

          RESUMEN La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre la cultura organizacional y el desempeño docente de una institución educativa de la provincia de Chiclayo. Para ello, se utilizó el enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo y de diseño no experimental con análisis correlacional. La población censal estuvo conformada por 48 docentes, entre nombrados y contratados. De acuerdo con los resultados encontrados, se concluye que sí existe una relación positiva moderada entre la cultura organizacional y el desempeño docente de una institución educativa de la provincia de Chiclayo, Perú. La cultura de la organización es un factor determinante para el desarrollo de un desempeño docente de calidad; esto se logra con la proyección de los valores institucionales de los miembros actuales hacia los demás; siendo la mejora continua el valor institucional clave para este resultado, acompañado de un proceso de retroalimentación continuo, crítico, reflexivo y colaborativo.

          Translated abstract

          ABSTRACT The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between organizational culture and teaching performance of an educational institution in the province of Chiclayo. For this, the quantitative approach of descriptive type and non-experimental design with correlational analysis was used. The census population was made up of 48 teachers between appointed and hired. According to the results found, it is concluded that there is a moderate positive relationship between the organizational culture and the teaching performance of an educational institution in the province of Chiclayo, Peru. The culture of the organization is a determining factor for the development of a quality teaching performance; what is achieved with the projection of the institutional values of the current members towards the rest; continuous improvement being the key institutional value for this result, accompanied by a continuous, critical, reflective and collaborative feedback process.
