Abstract

La lingüística sistémico-funcional (Halliday, 2003 [1979]) se basa en la concepción de que el lenguaje es un potencial de significado que se representa en diferentes sistemas de opciones. En este trabajo analizaremos el alcance de los diferentes aspectos de significado que permiten poner en relación gramática, registro y género. Cada uno de estos conceptos interdependientes se caracterizará a partir del significado que conllevan y se propondrá un análisis de un corpus representativo para comprobar su funcionamiento efectivo.

Systemic functional linguistics (Halliday, 2003 [1979]) is based on the conception that language is a potential of meaning that is represented in different systems of options. In this work we will analyze the range of the different aspects of meaning that permit relating it with grammar, register and gender. Each of these interdependent concepts will be characterized starting from the meaning that they bear and we will propose an analysis of a representative corpus to prove its effective functioning.

La linguistique systémico-fonctionnelle (Halliday, 2003 [1979]) est basée sur la conception voulant que le langage soit un potentiel de signifié qui se représente en divers systèmes d'options. Dans ce travail, nous analyserons la portée des différents aspects de signifié qui permettent de mettre en relation grammaire, registre et genre. Chacun de ces concepts interdépendants sera caractérisé à partir du signifié que ceux-ci portent et nous proposerons une analyse d'un corpus représentatif pour en vérifier le bon fonctionnement.
