Abstract

Resumen Introducción: El cáncer constituye uno de los principales problemas de salud a nivel mundial y en la mayoría de los casos las personas que padecen dicha enfermedad tienen que recibir variedad de tratamientos, uno de ellos la quimioterapia, la cual afecta bruscamente la globalidad de su vida, específicamente cuando es mujer, requiriendo cuidados de enfermería con enfoque humanístico. Objetivo: Describir y analizar la percepción del cuidado de enfermería de las pacientes que reciben tratamiento de quimioterapia en un Hospital de nivel III. Chiclayo. 2019. Material y métodos: Estudio cualitativo, con diseño estudio de caso. La muestra fue constituida por 14 pacientes mujeres. Se usó la entrevista semiestructurada procesada mediante análisis de contenido. Se tuvieron en cuenta los criterios de rigor científico y los principios de bioética personalista. Resultados: Valorando las prácticas humanas durante la quimioterapia; Direccionando el estado físico y mental hacia Dios para encontrar sentido a la enfermedad. Conclusión: Las pacientes que participaron en este estudio percibieron que durante el cuidado, las enfermeras valoran las prácticas humanas demostrando interés, cariño y conocimientos, generando seguridad y tranquilidad a sus pacientes durante la quimioterapia.

Abstract Introduction: Cancer is one of the world's leading health problems and in most cases people with the disease have to receive a variety of treatments, including chemotherapy, which strongly affects globality of her life, specifically when she is a woman, requiring nursing care with a humanistic approach. Objective: Describe and analyze the perception of nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy treatment at a Level III Hospital. Chiclayo. 2019. Material and methods: Qualitative study, with case study design. The sample was made up of 14 female patients. The processed semi-structured interview was used using content analysis. The criteria of scientific rigor and the principles of personalistic bioethics were considered. Results: Valuing human practices during chemotherapy; Directing the physical and mental state towards God to make sense of the disease. Conclusion: Patients who participated in this study perceived that during care, nurses' value human practices by demonstrating interest, affection and knowledge, generating safety and tranquility for their patients during chemotherapy.
