Abstract

Resumen. Desde el surgimiento griego de la filosofía, el teatro y la política mantuvieron vínculos complicados, pero estrechos. A su manera, ambos pretenden unificar multiplicidades mediante el entrecruzamiento localizado de ideas y de cuerpos. Superando los modelos platónicos, aristotélicos y heideggerianos de la relación entre arte y filosofía, mostramos con Badiou que la articulación contemporánea del teatro y de la política subyace dentro de un juego dialéctico que constituye al Sujeto colectivo de ambos campos. Para este fin, es necesario repensar el punto de contacto entre el teatro y la política a la luz de sus diferentes producciones de verdades. Reubicando la verdad en el centro de ambas actividades, es posible ver con Badiou que tanto el teatro contemporáneo como la política, contribuyen a la creación de Sujetos fieles a momentos en los cuales el colectivo se hace posible mediante la manifestación de su indiferencia a las diferencias. Así, más allá del hecho de que teatro y política puedan ser objetos el uno del otro, y que se habiten el uno al otro, el teatro revela lo que puede seguir siendo, hoy en día, una política que no abandone lo político.

Abstract. Since the Greek emergence of philosophy, theatre and politics maintained complicated but close links. In their own way, both seek to unify multiplicities through the localized interweaving of ideas and bodies. Overcoming the Platonic, Aristotelian and Heideggerian models of the relationship between art and philosophy, it is shown with Badiou that the contemporary articulation of theatre and politics lies within a dialectical game that constitutes the collective Subject of both fields. For this purpose, it is necessary to rethink the point of contact between theatre and politics in the light of their different production of truths. Relocating the truth at the centre of both activities, it is possible to unveil with Badiou that both contemporary theatre and politics contribute to the creation of faithful Subjects when the collective is built through the indifference to the differences. Thus, beyond the fact that theatre and politics can be objects of one another, and that they inhabit each other, theatre reveals what can still be, today, the only real and true politics.
