Independent scholar. Jerry Pearlman, a retired solicitor, was a rambler and a member
of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority for eighteen years, ultimately serving
as Deputy Chairman. He has been the President of his local Law Society, and a member
of the Solicitors Complaints Bureau. He was awarded the MBE for services to the Ramblers
Association for which he is an Honorary Vice-President. He is currently Chairman of
the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Access Forum.
