Abstract

Resumen Objetivo. Presentar los resultados de una investigación realizada entre los años 2015-2017 con niños y niñas de 4 a 6 años y sus familias de la ciudad de Manizales. El tema fue la socialización familiar mediada por las TIC en la primera infancia. Este artículo centra el interés en situar las emociones en los procesos de socialización familiar en interacción con las tecnologías. Metodología. Se recurrió al método hermenéutico como opción pertinente a la perspectiva epistemológica del interaccionismo simbólico, la cual fundamentó el estudio. Resultados. La socialización familiar mediada por las TIC activa la vivencia de las emociones y la manera como estas emergen y se movilizan en los adultos encargados de acompañar la crianza. Conclusiones. El miedo, la angustia y la culpa, en particular esta última, se presentan ancladas a un discurso hegemónico del cuidado familiar, feminizado y maternizado. De igual forma, presentan estrecha relación con el estilo educativo parental practicado.

Abstract Objective. The main goal is to present the results of a research carried out between the years 2015-2017 with 4 to 6 years old children and their families from the city of Manizales. The topic was family socialization mediated by ICTs in early childhood. This article focuses on placing emotions in the processes of family socialization in interaction with technologies. Methodology. The hermeneutic method was used as a relevant option to the epistemological perspective of symbolic interactionism, which was the basis of the study. Results. Family socialization mediated by ICTs activates the experience of emotions, and how they emerge and move in adults responsible for accompanying upbringing. Conclusions. Fear, anguish and guilt, particularly the latter, are anchored to a hegemonic, feminized and mother-oriented discourse of family care. Similarly, these feelings have a close relationship with the parental educational style practiced.
