Abstract
Beyond the quantity of carbohydrate intake, further research is needed on the relevance
of carbohydrate quality. Thus, we evaluated the association between an a priori defined
carbohydrate quality index (CQI) and the incidence of breast cancer (BC) in a Mediterranean
cohort study.
