          Abstract

          El objetivo de este artículo es presentar una sistematización de los fundamentos conceptuales de la caracterización de estilos de aprendizaje. A partir del estudio realizado, se logró sistematizar las posiciones teóricas más importantes relacionadas con este tema y determinar las tendencias históricas de su desarrollo. Además, se analiza la influencia del diagnóstico de los estilos de aprendizaje en el uso de estrategias didácticas durante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Durante la investigación se utilizaron los métodos histórico, lógico, análisis, síntesis y crítica de fuentes, entre otros.

          Translated abstract

          The present article is aimed at presenting a systematization of the conceptual grounds of the learning styles' characterization. As from the study performed, it was possible to systematize the most important theoretical positions related with this topic, and to determine its historical development trend. Moreover, the paper analyzes the influence of the diagnosis of the learning styles when using educational strategies during the learning-teaching process. During the research, the historic, logical, analysis, synthesis, and sources criticism methods were used.
