          Abstract

          Our goal was to develop and validate, based on theoretical and empirical knowledge, the Pain Assessment Checklist for Seniors with Limited Ability to Communicate (PACSLAC-II), a shorter tool that would improve on the PACSLAC, while addressing limitations of the original version.
