          Abstract

          En la presente investigación se realizaron encuestas que permitieron obtener la información del tipo de unidad de transporte, frecuencia de uso y distancia recorrida en su trayecto de los estudiantes de la UCB. Obteniendo estos datos se realizaron los cálculos correspondientes de acuerdo a factores de emisión asociados al tipo de vehículo. Las aproximaciones nos demostraron que el tipo de transporte más utilizado es el masivo que en contraste con el tipo de transporte no masivo nos dio una cifra de 601,06 Ton/año cifra que demuestra que debido a la predominancia de uso de transporte masivo no se emiten grandes cantidades por el transporte estudiantil.

          Translated abstract

          In the present investigation, surveys were carried out to obtain information on the type of transport unit, frequency of use and distance traveled along its route of the UCB students. Obtaining these data were the corresponding calculations according to emission factors associated with the type of vehicle. The approximations showed that the type of transport most used is the massive one, which in contrast with the type of non-massive transport gave us a figure of 601.06 Ton / year, which shows that due to the predominance of mass transit use, large amounts of carbon are not emitted by student transportation.
