En este artículo intentaremos reflexionar acerca de los discursos que sobre las mujeres circulaban en los medios escritos de Tucumán a fines del siglo XIX, el diario local El Orden y la revista literaria El Porvenir. Nuestro objetivo es analizar cuáles eran las principales fuentes de donde emanaban, cuál sería la funcionalidad social de los mismos, y qué influjo pudieron tener en la conformación de la identidad de las mujeres de la burguesía local.
In this article we will try to think of the speeches that on the women were circulating in Tucumán's written at the end of the 19th century. Our aim is analyze which were the principal sources wherefrom they were coming, which would be the social functionality of the same ones, and what influence they could have in the conformation of the identity of the women of the local middle class.
