ANÁLISIS DEL DISCURSO PERIODÍSTICO EN LA PRENSA REGIONAL DE MAGALLANES: VARIACIÓN SINTÁCTICA Y TEMA EN LOS TITULARES Translated title: ANALYSIS OF JOURNALISTIC DISCOURSE IN MAGALLANES REGIONAL PRESS: SYNTACTIC VARIATION AND THEME IN THE HEADLINES

Abstract

El análisis gramatical aplicado a un medio de comunicación escrito reconocido por la comunidad de hablantes, permite abordar con un enfoque comunicativo los mecanismos formales y la función pragmático-discursiva que el hablante asigna a estos textos. De este modo se intenta abordar la relación entre la organización de la lengua y la organización del contexto en las dimensiones que constituyen el registro de los titulares: campo, tenor y modo. Aplicando los actuales enfoques gramaticales se describe la estructura sintáctica de los titulares (Hernández, 1999; Bosque & Demonte, 1999) y la identificación del tema en las diversas estructuras sintácticas de modo de describir la relación entre los diversos recursos lingüístico-discursivos que el sujeto productor de estos textos activa en contextos comunicativos constituyendo el registro de los titulares. Los resultados del estudio han permitido observar que en el nivel discursivo de la lengua escrita, aún cuando los titulares evidencian particularidades sintácticas propias del género textual en estudio, es posible observar variaciones en la estructura temática que evidencia elementos comunicativos propios de la comunidad de habla magallánica que se reflejan no sólo en variaciones en el nivel sintáctico de la lengua, sino además en innovaciones lingüísticas de la propia norma periodística respecto de la estructura de los titulares (Francescutti, 2009).

Translated abstract

The grammatical analysis applied to written media recognized by the community of speakers, allows to approach with a communicative approach the formal mechanisms and pragmatic-discursive function that the speaker assigns to these texts. Thus,this work attempts to address the relationship between the organization of the language and the organization of the context based in the dimensions that constitute the register of the headlines: field, tenor and mode. By applying current grammar approaches, the syntactic structure of headlines as well as the identification of the subject in the different syntactic structures are described, so that the relationship between the various linguistic-discursive resources is activated by the producer of these texts, constituting the register of headlines. (Hernández, 1999; Bosque & Demonte, 1999). The results of this study have allowed to observe that in the discursive level of written language, even when headlines confirm syntax particularities of the textual genre in study, it is possible to observe variations in the thematic structure that shows communicative elements proper of the Spanish-speaking community from Magallanes which are reflected not only in variations on the syntactic level of language, but also in linguistic innovations belonging to the journalistic standards with regard to the structure of the headlines (Francescutti, 2009).
