          Abstract

          We investigated longitudinal changes in iron concentration in the subcortical gray matter (caudate nucleus, globus pallidus, putamen, thalamus) of patients with clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) and definite multiple sclerosis (MS) and their relation to clinical and other morphologic variables.
