Abstract

Resumen: El presente artículo busca contribuir a un mayor conocimiento acerca del proceso de conformación de la carrera de Sociología en el ámbito institucional de la Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). En tal sentido, el estudio intenta reconstruir los primeros años de la carrera (1958-1966) dando cuenta de diversos actores que van a intervenir en la conformación de la sociología como disciplina académica en la Argentina y disputar la orientación de esta disciplina.

Abstract: This article seeks to contribute to increased knowledge about the process of shaping the career of Sociology at the institutional level of the Catholic University off Argentina (UCA). In this regard, the study attempts to reconstruct the early years of the career (1958-1966) identified various actors involved in the formation of sociology as an academic discipline in Argentina and dispute the orientation of this discipline.
