          Abstract

          To increase the success rate of the first treatment of ureteral stones through extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), we tested the efficacy of a medical therapy with nifedipine and deflazacort administered to patients who had undergone ESWL for ureteral stones.
