          Abstract

In the aging process, the demand for old-age care in healthy ways in China is growing rapidly. However, the resources of elderly care are in great shortage. “Elderly care in healthy ways” and “combination between medical and elderly care institutions”, on the one hand led by demands and on the other hand driven by government, has become a big and important event of people′s livelihood to deal with the aging of population. Under the background of global development of healthy aging, the paper attempts to interpret the generation, development and problems in practice of the elderly concept and service mode of combination between medical and elderly care institutions comprehensively.
