          Abstract

          The editorial board of JCSIS is pleased to present to its valued readers the first issue of the 40th volume at the beginning of this year. JCSIS strives to present credible and innovative research, useful science, and a moderate approach in all the topics it publishes. This issue contains a variety of important scientific research topics addressed by a group of scholars and researchers from several countries: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait and Malaysia as follows: 1- Al-Qāʿida al-Nūrāniyya, Approach to Qur’anic Learning in Qatar: An Evaluative Comparative Study.2- Restriction and Specification in Hadith: Difference, Authenticity, & Abrogation.3- Psychological Objectives in Sharia Law: A Study of Solace in the Qur’an.4- Vexatious Claims between Spouses and their Applications in Family Courts in the State of Qatar: Alimony and Custody.5- Involvement in Intentional Homicide: A Comparative Study of Islamic Jurisprudence and Kuwaiti Penal Law.6- Consideration of Innate Disposition and its Impact on Achievement of the Objective of Compliance of Sharia Law.7- The Charter of United Nations and its Impact on Offensive Wars in Islam:A Comparative Jurisprua-dential Study.8- Structural and Thematic Coherence in Qur’ānic Sūrahs (Taswīr): A New Domain in Qur’ānic inimi-tability (Sūrat Al-Nisā’ as a model).9- Religious Approaches and Practices in Malaysia to Supplement Handling of Sexuality Issues of Ado-lescents with Autism.Furthermore, this issue includes two reviews titled, “Women in Islam—What the Quran and Sunnah Say” and “Eloquence of Qur’anic Miracles and the Limits of Interpretation,” in the Book Review Section.
