Abstract

Resumen La normalización del lenguaje enfermero es una necesidad para tender a la excelencia. Es necesario disponer de sistemas de clasificación y de recursos, para mejorar la atención al usuario. La implantación de metodología con intervenciones enfermeras, y la validación de intervenciones, supone un reto profesional y una mejora de calidad de atención. Objetivos: Identificar, especificar y validar, en hospitales de Tenerife, intervenciones normalizadas del GDR 122: "Trastornos circulatorios con infarto agudo de miocardio sin complicaciones cardiovasculares. Alta con vida". Identificar, especificar y validar en hospitales de Tenerife, actividades normalizadas de la intervención 4190: "Canalización venosa periférica". Estimar los recursos utilizados y el coste de la intervención, en diferentes instituciones. Se realizaron dos estudios prospectivos y comparativos. Se validaron 42 intervenciones de las 64 de la norma y 5 distractores. No se validaron 22 intervenciones de las incluidas en el GDR. El costo medio de los materiales utilizados, fue de 2,911€. El tiempo medio invertido fue de 7,67 minutos. La intervención, se realizó sin dificultad en 140 casos, con una media de 6,58 minutos y con dificultad en 22 casos, con un tiempo de 10,18 minutos. El costo medio de la intervención, fue de 4,624€. Se concluyó con la validación de las intervenciones del GDR 122, proponiendo nuevas intervenciones. Se detectó la necesidad de formación en metodología enfermera y en utilización de sistemas de clasificación, así como en mejorar los registros.

Abstract: The normalization of nursing language is a necessity to strive for excellence. It is necessary to have classification systems and resources to improve user service. The implementation of a methodology with nursing interventions, and the validation of interventions, is a professional challenge and an improvement in the quality of care. Objectives: To identify, specify and validate, in Tenerife hospitals, GDR 122 standardized interventions: "Circulatory disorders with acute myocardial infarction without cardiovascular complications. High alive". Identify, specify and validate in hospitals in Tenerife, standardized activities of intervention 4190: "Peripheral venous cannulation". Estimate the resources used and the cost of the intervention, in different institutions. Two prospective and comparative studies were carried out. 42 interventions of the 64 of the standard and 5 distractors were validated. 22 interventions included in the GDR were not validated. The average cost of the materials used was €2,911. The average time invested was 7.67 minutes. The intervention was carried out without difficulty in 140 cases, with an average of 6.58 minutes, and with difficulty in 22 cases, with a time of 10.18 minutes. The mean cost of the intervention was €4,624. It was concluded with the validation of the GDR 122 interventions, proposing new interventions. The need for training in nursing methodology and in the use of classification systems was detected, as well as in improving records.
