          Abstract

Generic placement of the amisegine species Atoposega decorata Kimsey, 1995, is reexamined and is moved to the new genus, Noumeasega. In addition, three new species, N. bicolorata, N. kaoriensis and N. neocaledonica, also from New Caledonia are described and placed in Noumeasega. Traits that distinguish Noumeasega from Atoposega Krombein, 1957 and Mahinda Krombein, 1983, are described, and a key to the species is provided along with distribution map and images. In addition, unlike Atoposega, males are associated with females in Noumeasega.
