Abstract
Mediastinal lymph node dissection improves the staging of patients who have non-small
cell lung cancer at the time of resection. Thoracoscopic lobectomy is seen as an effective
strategy for patients who have early-stage lung cancer. Videothoracoscopic lymphadenectomy
performed during thoracoscopic lobectomy achieves complete mediastinal lymph node
dissection.
