          Abstract

The use of sub-lobar resection versus lobectomy for stage I non small cell lung cancer is still controversial. This study was undertaken to compare the results of limited resection in terms of survival and local recurrence rate to lobectomy in patients with peripheral stage I non small cell lung cancer.
