O presente artigo aborda a temática liderança em seus aspectos essenciais, tendo em vista as transformações que as organizações contemporâneas estão vivenciando. Fundamentadas na literatura, tecemos considerações acerca do papel do enfermeiro-líder do futuro, da importância do pessoal auxiliar-liderado para a eficácia do processo de liderar e da necessidade do aprendizado em liderança.
