          Abstract

          Este estudio desarrolla una investigación sobre la creatividad a partir de la filosofía de Charles S. Peirce. Se examinan las características que definen el fenómeno creativo. A continuación se centra la atención en la abducción, que constituye para Peirce el motor de la creatividad. El estudio de la abducción conduce a la idea de razonabilidad como fin al que se orienta todo el crecimiento, y a una nueva manera de comprender la razón humana como esencialmente creativa. Por último se analiza cómo las nociones anteriores podrían aplicarse a un modelo de educación que conciba al ser humano en constante crecimiento¹.

          Translated abstract

          This paper develops an inquiry about creativity through the philosophy of Charles S. Peirce. The author deals, first of all, with the general characteristics of the creative phenomena. Later, the notion of abduction is explained, which constitutes for Peirce the engine of creativity. The study of abduction leads to the idea of reasonableness, understood as the purpose to which growth and creativity are orientated, and to a new way of understanding human reason as essentially creative. Finally, the author analyzes how the previous notions could be applied to a new model of education.
