Abstract

Se presenta una revisión a los estudios realizados sobre el tema del emprendimiento femenino a la luz de los planteamientos de Dyer sobre carrera empresarial. La revisión realizada pone de relieve el hecho que, aunque es un tema que no ha sido suficientemente estudiado, existe un interés por comprender los factores que condicionan, influyen y determinan los emprendimientos femeninos, específicamente en lo relacionado con la creación, desarrollo y mantenimiento de nuevas empresas. La tendencia a nivel mundial muestra que las mujeres crean menos empresas que los hombres, pero que esta proporción tiende a aumentar.

We present a review of studies on the subject of female entrepreneurship in the light of the approaches of Dyer on entrepreneurial career. The review highlights the fact that although this is an issue that has not been sufficiently studied, there is interest in understanding the factors that influence and determine the female entrepreneurship, specifically as it relates to the creation, development and maintenance of new enterprises. The global trend shows that women create fewer companies than men, but this ratio tends to rise.
