          Abstract

          About the author: Robert Oliphant’s best known book is “A Piano for Mrs. Cimino,” whose prize winning multi-lingual film version starring Bette Davis is still being shown worldwide. He is an Air Corps veteran of WWII, an emeritus professor of English at Cal State Northridge with a PhD from Stanford, and a columnist with EducationNews.org.
