          Abstract

Objective To verify the bactericidal ability of Vesphene Ⅱ se and VirkonS disinfectant against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and we seek the best disinfection effect of tuberculosis laboratory.

Methods Suspension quantitative germicidal test was used to determine the germicidal efficacy of 5, 10 and 20 minutes of 1:85, 1:128, 1:256 Vesphene Ⅱ se disinfectant and 1:66, 1:100, 1:133, 1:200, 1:400 VirkonS disinfectant against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Each test was repeated 3 times.

Results The 1:85 concentration Vesphene Ⅱ se disinfectant can kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis within 5 minutes, but can not completely kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis within 10, 20 minutes; 1:128 concentration disinfection can not completely kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis within 5 minutes, disinfection can completely kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis within 10 minutes and 20 minutes; 1:256 concentration Vesphene Ⅱ se disinfectant can not completely kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis within 5, 10, and 20 minutes; while 1:66, 1:100, 1:133, 1:200 and 1:400 concentration VirkonS disinfectant can not completely kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis within 5, 10, and 20 minutes.

Conclusion The Vesphene IIse disinfectant with a concentration of 1:128 can effectively kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis and can be used as a disinfectant in the tuberculosis laboratory for 10 minutes; the VirkonS disinfectant, though a broad-spectrum disinfectant, is not sensitive to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and has poor killing efficiency, so it can not be used as a disinfectant in the tuberculosis laboratory.
