Abstract

Resumen El presente artículo interroga la relación entre justicia y castigo desde los feminismos antipunitivistas en el escenario de una creciente agenda de seguridad. Nos proponemos poner en tensión el reconocimiento punitivo como modo de hacer visibles las diversas violencias de género en los movimientos feministas chilenos de los últimos años. Para ello analizamos la problemática del “espacio seguro” como lugar libre de conflicto; la experiencia de victimización como modo de subjetivación/identificación feminista; y analizamos cómo las agendas de seguridad y justicia se tradujeron en los fallidos procesos constituyentes recientes ocurridos en Chile, sobre todo en el tránsito de una propuesta de Constitución feminista y plurinacional a una criminalizadora y securitista.

Translated abstract

Abstract This article interrogates the relationship between justice and punishment from antipunitivist feminisms in the scenario of a growing security agenda. We propose to put in tension the punitive recognition as a way of making visible the diverse gender violence in the Chilean feminist movements of the last years. To this end, we analyse the problematic of the “safe space” as a place free of conflict, the experience of victimization as a mode of feminist subjectivation/identification; and we analyse how the security and justice agendas were translated into the recent unsuccessful constituent processes in Chile, especially in the transition from a feminist and plurinational Constitution proposal to a criminalizing and securitizing one.
