          Summary

This paper proposes a new typology of Repository conceived to support Open Science practices by benefitting from ICT developments. Such a repository is expected to act like an overlay repository on top of the infrastructure / set of services exploited by a researcher when performing research tasks. The proposed repository is expected to bring benefits on the deposition, quality assessment and dissemination phases of the publishing step of a typical Research Lifecycle.
